Where to eat, stay and walk around the venues

Neighborhood Guides

Downtown Nashville is not one place but several districts that meet near Broadway and Fifth. Knowing which neighborhood you are walking through helps with everything from dinner reservations to the route you take back to your hotel after a show. These guides describe the areas around our venue board: what each one is like, which venues it holds, and how it connects to the corner.

We do not review individual restaurants or bars. Instead, each guide explains the character of the area, practical walking routes and the things to keep in mind on a busy event night. Start with SoBro if you are seeing a show at the arena, the symphony or the riverfront amphitheater; start with Capitol Hill for the theater.
